Thank You from HUABJ
Hello Dr. Lee,
I would like to truly thank you on behalf of the Howard University Association of Black Journalists. We had an awesome time at WBLS! Thank you for giving us this opportunity. I know that all the students walked away learning something new. Above everything, the students all said our time spent at WBLS encouraged them to never give up. Seeing the successes of all the professionals in your office made them realize their dreams can become reality. I cannot thank you enough for organizing the tour and discussions. We are truly grateful. We look forward to working with you in the future.
Thank you,
Mary Godie

AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS ARE NOT APPLYING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS:
Even if you do not have a college-aged child at home, please share this with someone who does, and to anyone and everyone that comes to mind. Though there are a number of companies and organizations that have donated money for scholarships to African Americans, a great deal of the money is being returned because of a lack of interest or awareness.
No one is going to knock on our doors and ask if we can use a scholarship.
